The Procurement & Supply Chain Management Unit of the NHFC ensures that goods and services required by the Corporation are procured timeously and economically, from upstanding and reputable suppliers with a responsible bias towards previously disadvantage enterprises guided by a policy that ensures transparency.

Guided by the principles of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act of 2000 (PPPFA), the Procurement & Supply Chain Management Unit perform the crucial linkage task between the internal stakeholder and the external vendors who provide products and services to the NHFC.

It is the Procurement & Supply Chain Management Unit’s responsibility to handle all aspects of the procurement process, which, amongst others, include providing the internal stakeholders with guidance for developing tender specifications; soliciting bids; vetting suppliers; analysing quotations and proposals; managing and overseeing tender processes; negotiating contracts; and interacting with vendors.
